Prachtige villa om te verblijven ☺Prachtig gelegen, mooie villa welke Frans aandeed qua inrichting. Goede service en andere faciliteiten, lief en aardig personeel. Don stond ons bij als we vragen hadden. De kamer was klein maar fijn. De open badkamer was groot met een goede douche. The owners, Ingrid and Don, were also extremely polite, friendly, and helpful! The villa is surrounded by lush greenery. It is a great base for bike rides, walks, or trips to the city. The breakfast is beautifully presented. Everywhere in the house you can see the French influence and the personal touch of Ingrid and Don. ☹ The proximity to the highway is a disadvantage. Paul Pluijmen15 July 2026Dear Ingrid and Don, Staying with you was like being at home in another house; it sounds strange, but the personal attention and time taken for the “guests” is so familiar, as if we already knew each other. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, despite the heat there was a pleasant stay with the fan already running. The details of the rituals and accessories in the shower, toilet and room also added an extra touch of tranquility to the atmosphere; despite the A4 paper that was passing by nearby, it wasn’t intrusive; however, if you were bothered by it, there were earplugs on the landing where you could grab coffee, tea, soda and a beer. The staff on the terrace were also so patient, friendly, and willing to chat, despite the heat and the hustle and bustle of the day; hats off to the staff. Not recommendedWe had a reservation for a high tea. We were constantly forgotten about. After half an hour of waiting, we were asked if we could have some drinks. We had to wait another 20 minutes and then we were asked if we could have our high tea. The snacks weren't great. A bit dry. Other small things that could be improved: The soup was delivered to the wrong table. The drink from another table came to us. The spa red wine was barely warm with the cutlery arranged incorrectly. There were no toilet paper on the toilets. We asked several times if we could have some drinks. Each time the answer was: oh yeah, I forgot about you. There were 2023 on the tea plates. So no sleeping at all! Also a lot of noise from frogs and a big road that is very close by. Furthermore, the breakfast was good but not exceptional anymore. The hotel has had its best time. A sloppy impression, urgent major renovation needed and no elevator. Also, you get very little information about the surroundings. The staff is friendly but not enthusiastic. Definitely not worth the price! We go cycling somewhere else in the Netherlands every year and this one was below average. We received a detailed email with all the information in advance and were able to specify our wishes in that. On the day itself, a beautifully set table was set up in a separate and beautiful area so that you were truly separated from any other guests. The staff were very friendly and during each course of the high tea, we were given an explanation about the dishes, taking into account our specific requests. Drinks were served promptly and the tea was replenished each time. All the courses of the high tea were super delicious and of excellent quality, prepared with care! It's a restaurant that is open during the day until 17:00, but also offers a B&B. We spent the night there as well, having a drink on the restaurant's lovely terrace. The room was well equipped, so it was fine for us. There is a shared kitchenette where various drinks and snacks are available for a fee. Friendly owners/staff in the restaurant. The breakfast was excellent. There was everything you could possibly need and plenty of choice. Maria5 March 2022Nice atmospheric place with delicious fresh breakfastAbsolutely charming location, 5 rooms on the attic and the owners live on the middle floor. Our room (5) wasn't big but cozy and kid-friendly, including bathrobes, candles, Rituals products and an electric kettle for tea in the room. On the top floor of the B&B you can find coffee/tea and delicious treats for a small fee and a fridge with various drinks. Everything is also thought of (reading glasses, sewing thread, etc.). You'll also find earplugs, the house is close to the highway but because of the thick shutters for the windows we didn't have any problems with that. The breakfast is super good, fresh fruit, fresh juice, an egg, fresh rolls/croissants, yogurt, sweet and savory, really very complete. Friendly owners and staff. Beautiful terrace and garden where we unfortunately didn't get to go but we will definitely come back and visit the park-like garden and the wooded area with a climbing wall right nearby. My 11-year-old daughter really enjoyed it.
