\nOn the border of Brabant and Zeeland lies the Brabantse Wal, one of the three Landscapes of Allure in North Brabant. An area where natural beauty, monuments and cultural events are intimately intertwined.\n<\/h3>

The Brabantse Wal is a sandy plateau located in the far west of the province of North Brabant, stretching from the Belgian border in the south to Steenbergen in the north and to Wouwse Plantage in the east. The area is notable for its diverse landscapes. The rolling terrain of the Brabantse Wal rises to as much as 20 metres above sea level near Woensdrecht, offering scenic views. After the ascent, the landscape abruptly reverts to the vast polders around Steenbergen, the waters of the Zeeland delta, and the forests of Wouwse Plantage. Bergen op Zoom lies in the centre of the area.<\/p>\n

The Brabantse Wal owes its name to the escarpment that winds through the landscape. You'll find differences in altitude of up to 20 metres. Hop on your bike and discover the many cycle routes past Putte, Woensdrecht, Bergen op Zoom, Halsteren, Steenbergen and Dinteloord. Or put on your walking boots and discover the beauty of the landscape and the villages and towns. Enjoy the peace on the water and sail with a sloop from one marina to another.<\/p>\n

But the Brabantse Wal has much more to offer than just beautiful scenery. Culture enthusiasts can indulge themselves at the city palace Markiezenhof or one of the many monuments and regional museums. And what about the countless events? From music festivals to culinary events, there's always something happening. The Brabantse Wal also offers plenty of entertainment for children. A treasure hunt through Bergen op Zoom or in the forest, discovering animals in the Dintelse Gorzen and climbing and scrambling in the adventure park. This is just a small selection of all there is to do on the Brabantse Wal.<\/p>\n<\/div>
